Mattie Came to Visit!

Last weekend, Mattie came to stay with us and play while her mom & dad took new baby, Braden, to visit his grandparents. All of the dogs had a blast playing with her, or competing for the tennis balls with her!! They were lucky and had great weather to play all weekend !! As much as they all love Mattie, they are always happy to have their stuff and their mom & dad's attention back to themselves. :)

A Wonderful Excuse to Take A Day Off

Our niece, Kristin, and her boyfriend, Brian, came to visit us on Tuesday. They are the first people from Mike's family, aside from his mom, to come and visit Memphis in 12 years!!! (And Brian isn't even officially part of the family.) We had a lot of fun even though they could only stay for the day. We went to Graceland, strolled downtown, saw the famous Peabody ducks, and ate a Memphis BBQ legendary restaurant, the Rendezvous. We are so glad they took time to come and see us!!!

Snow in Memphis

If you are not from this area, you probably would not understand. Typically we get snow once a year, overnight, and maybe an inch or two. It is gone by lunch the next day:) This time, it started snowing at 2:30 pm yesterday, and didn't stop until around 2am this morning(so the weatherman says). We ended up with 4-6" inches!!! So since it is a once a year event... Foster, Lexi and Bailey have been outside constantly running and playing in the snow. Lexi, being the border collie she is, took up snowflake chasing as her new obsession. Just think that last weekend the temperature was around 68 degrees!! That is Memphis weather for you!
