Rain....Sun....Rain again

You have to love the springtime weather!!! Well, today was half and half, rainy morning and a beautiful sunny afternoon. The pups and I played outside for quite awhile when I got home today. We did a little agility practice( we have a show this weekend), but mostly just hung out in the beautiful weather.

March Birthdays!!!

I just wanted to wish everyone in March a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!(For some of you this might be a little belated!!)

Must Say Goodbye to the Pink Elephant....

Just a quick update....
The pink elephant was destroyed yesterday....but the pineapple lives on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





Before all of the toy destruction, we did actually practice a little agility on this beautiful day! Hopefully today we will get out to the farm to do agility and go swimming before it rains!!

Other than that we will be keeping tabs on the NCAA tournament even though last night was wrought with major upsets to our brackets!!!! Cleveland State???? Crazy!!!

The Pink Elephant and the Stuffed Pineapple....

Could the stuffed pineapple survive until today?? Absolutely!!! Though it has lost the squeaker and a bit of stuffing...it is still a prized toy for the pups!! And surprisingly the new pink elephant survived the first day without losing any stuffing or the squeaker!





It was a beautiful day here today!!! 70's and sunny!! We took advantage of it after work, and played until it got dark!

And The Stuffed Pineapple Lives On...

Going to dog shows, one of the best things is that we often come home with a stuffed toy just for entering! These toys often have a VERY short lifespan in our house, as the squeaker is surgically removed by one border collie and the the toy is tugged and ripped open by the lab and the other border collie. The stuffing must then be pulled out and strewn all over the house or the yard. That is absolute joy for the pups and only takes 10-15 minutes from beginning to end!! But so far, the stuffed pineapple is still fairly whole and going on 5 days since we first got it out, with 3 outside play sessions!!! It may not be indestructible but it is sure putting up a good fight!! :) The stuffed bunny however only managed to survive for 5 minutes.....

Snow in March!!!

Well after thinking that spring was here, we finally got our 1 decent snow of the year!!! It started snowing yesterday afternoon, and we had less than 1/2" that was sticking by the time I went to sleep last night. But this morning the pups and I were pleasantly surprised that we had about 3-4" of snow to play in!!!! YEAH!!!!
